Ethical Dimensions

Cultivating Your Practice with Compassion, Wisdom and Clarity

Workshops that explore Ethics as Right Use of Power

Ethical Dimensions offers workshops exploring the multiple dimensions of Ethics education. Beginning with a wide range of traditional concerns in areas such as codes and guidelines, confidentiality, informed consent, roles and boundaries, standards of practice, dual role relationship, and sexual misconduct. Then expanding into Ethics as soul work based upon universal principles of compassion and reverence for life. All of this is held in the context of Ethics as Right Use of Power. By looking at ethics as “right use of power,” we expand the focus from behaviors that cause harm to include behaviors and attitudes that use power to promote healing and empowerment. The training is organized around a circular map of the 4 seasons—Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter—planting, tending, harvesting and reflecting. The classroom experience is experiential in nature providing a learning that is often more readily available in the context of real life. This approach guides you to a deeper connection with your own ethical nature and internal integrity. Ethical Dimensions weaves heart and power into the study of Ethics.
